                     April 3, 2014  Media Release Milk Transport Vehicle Rollover   Fond du Lac, WI:  On April 3, 2014 at 11:56 AM the Fond du Lac Fire Department was dispatched to a semi-tanker rollover with driver possibly trapped in truck.  The semi tanker was carrying 5200 gallons of milk when it lost control and turned over on south bound ramp to Hwy. 151.  Upon arrival, fire department personnel assisted truck driver to the ambulance and began care.  Driver was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  DNR was contacted and their recommendations were followed in regards to the clean-up process.  Fire personnel contained the oil leak and contained the flow of milk into the ditch.  FDL Fire secured the scene until appropriate companies were on scene to pump the remainder of the milk from the truck, upright the truck, and clean the spill from the ditches.  Surrounding fire departments assisted with the water shuttle and clean-up.  City, County, and State Police were on scene to help with traffic control and investigation.
