Medical Services Week – Open House
When:  Wednesday, May
21st from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Where:  Fond du Lac
Fire Department
 FOND DU LAC, WI –FDLFD will be hosting an Open House to celebrate Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week 2014.  The theme for this EMS week is “EMS: Dedicated for Life”.   The fire department will be honoring Culver’s Restaurant for its commitment to CPR & AED use in their stores.  They will be receiving a Citizen Life Safety Award for providing emergency care to their patron in time of need.   FDLFD will be partnering with Flight for Life (FFL) and the American Red Cross and will be providing  demonstrations, along with a FFL landing.  Kids will have the opportunity to try on firefighter gear, get a special visit by Patches and Pumper, and get some take home goodies.  All will have the opportunity to tour the
station, see the trucks, and learn the basics of CPR, first aid, and handling
emergencies.  Light refreshments will be served. Interested media outlets are
asked to be at FDLFD Station 1 (815 S. Main St.) by 4:00 p.m. on May 21,
